There's a lot of buzz about CSAT. Coaching and so called Guru gantals in the market have left no stone unturned to do scaremongering.
This forum is for sharing genuine information and not for selling or buying any matter.Write-now no "standard" study material can be drafted because upsc hasn't provided any model paper for CSAT.They only have given syllabus and that too is not very clear. At this juncture don't harp on any matter available.
In order to make there products(study material) and coaching classes attractive , coachingwalls ,might serve u things that u wun't read. They will try to serve all hell heard about aptitude test i.e a mixture of cat+bank exam+nda+... blah blah ... So that later on they can claim they covered everything asked in the exams.
So right now keep patient and save money and precious time. Study as usual for GS paper. For CSAT go through any "standard" book available in the market.Group study is the key.Form a diverse group- one good in quant, another in LRDI, another one in english .Keep sharing valuables

The sample questions provided by upsc contains only few questions in csat section.RC(reading comprehension), LR(logical reasoning) and statement based questions. It is mentioned on upsc site that they will come with more question later on.
ReplyDeleteI will come up with more info.Going to bed as I've to go for work tomorrow early in the morning.... Good Night.
ReplyDeleteRC is the very tricky part of any aptitude test. Those who are good at reading and comprehending fast have real edge over others without much effort. Its like a bonus for them.Non English medium guys and those who are bad at this really need to offset this.
